  • Anaheim, California - Real Estate

Located 28 miles southeast of Las Angeles, Anaheim, California has a population of 328,014, making it the second largest city in Orange County. The area of Aneheim, Santa Ana, and Irvine is generally seen as one of the best places in America to live with its good public schools and very low crime rate.

But Orange County as a whole is also one of the most expensive places in America to buy real estate, with the median price of a single family dwelling reaching $699,800 at the end of 2005. Growth in the region for the past few years has been astronomical, with prices increasing from an average of $487,000 in 2003.

Although these prices are prohibitive to most prospective homebuyers, there are still a few relatively good deals to be found for the well established buyer via foreclosure listings and other discounted real estate offers.
